WATER, WATER, WATER
The most important nutrient in your body is clean water! Your body is made of over 70% water and every cell in your body is effected by the water you drink. As an athlete or a health conscience person, the amount of water you drink and even more importantly the quality of water you drink will have the biggest positive or negative impact on performance and health. The quality of your tissues, their performance, and your resistance to injury, is with out a doubt dependent on the quality and quantity of water you drink.
Dehydrate the muscle by only 3% and you will have a loss of contractile strength of about 10% and a 8% loss of speed. Performance and health will literally dry up!

CLEAN WATER IS A SCARE COMMODITY
Most tap water and bottled water is extremely polluted, yet the majority of people and even athletes who are very careful about the food they put in their bodies are careless about their water. They will drink out of drinking fountains at the gym, carbon filtered water at home, and spring water bottled in plastic containers. Ingesting polluted water creates toxicity in the muscles, organs, and brain: destroying athletic performance. No high performance machine can operate at optimum levels using dirty lubricants!
If you think we are exaggerating, let's look at some figures: The average water quality of tap water in the US is 600 parts per million of contaminants, and some cities are even worse than that. The Environmental Protection Agency reported that about 85% of tap water in America is contaminated. More then 55,000 of the regulated chemical dumps across the country have leaked and are still leaking into our ground water! Even radioactive wastes from the most regulated dumps are leaking into the ground water, and all this contamination is beyond help.
There are more then 60,000 chemical contaminates of water and any given municipal water supply is likely to harbor at least 1,000 of them. The Office of Technology Assessment reported that, out of 954 US cities, almost 30% of them are seriously contaminated. Water authorities do what they can, but the problem is out of control and it is way too expensive to make our tap water healthy enough to drink. The good news is that much of our tap water ends up going down the toilet, or drain, or is used to water the lawn and wash the car; many times we don't end up drinking it.

Our tap water is treated only to minimum standards using sedimentation, filtration, chemical conditioning, and disinfection with chlorine and small particles of toxic aluminum called aluminum osmosis. Toxic metals, industrial chemicals, pesticides, toxic chemicals used to treat water, and dead bacteria killed by chlorine and aluminum are still in the water when it comes out of the tap! Chlorine is a carcinogen and has been proven to cause liver and colorectal cancers among other health problems. Most chicken farmers will even de-chlorinate the water for their chickens so the chickens will be healthier, heavier, and will live through the winter with an increase of feathers. Aluminum kills the brain and nervous system and causes Alzheimer's disease , Dementia, and Osteoporosis. Furthermore, we are the only industrialized nation to put fluoride in the water. Fluoride does not make your teeth strong and is not natural. Fluoride is a byproduct of nuclear waste/fertilizer
production and is extremely poisonous. Some people believe that fluoride is put in our water and tooth paste to make us more complacent due to its effects on the brain. Tap water may not make you sick or kill you right away, but over time it will negatively affect your body, and if you are an athlete, it will destroy your performance dramatically!
BOTTLED WATER IS TOO OFTEN WORSE THAN TAP WATER!
Bottled water or "Mineral Water" is tap water that is put through minimum filtration to make it taste better. "Spring Water" may be from a spring but most springs are seriously polluted! The bottled water industry is not regulated by the FDA, which means that it is a totally self-regulated industry! Tap water has more standards and regulations then bottled water does. Remember the Perrier disaster, when they had to recall 72 million bottles of water because traces of Benzene got into the water? Many companies use Benzene in addition to other solvent hydrocarbons to clean their bottling equipment on a daily basis. The FDA does not require water companies to test for Benzene, solvents, feces, heavy metals, or bacteria. This does not even take into account the cacogenic dioxins that are released into water when it is bottled in plastic.
``If you are relying on bottled water or filtered water, spring water can
have fluoride in it and filters do not completely remove aluminum and
fluoride.''
Other less effective methods to remove fluoride include activated alumina and
ion exchange (Fluoride, Aluminum, Lead, & Arsenic filter). According to
one online water filtration company, activated alumina will only remove 70-90
per cent of aluminum and fluoride. Once a filter becomes overloaded, it dumps
fluoride back into the water!!! You will also need to change the
cartridge every three months, but to replace it costs up to $150 per filter. The
problem is you cannot tell by tasting the water when the filter dumps the
fluoride and aluminum back in at dangerous levels.
HOW TO GET CLEAN WATER

Ionizers" are all hype, Snake Oil on Tap!
Beware of claims that you can change your blood pH with
Ionizer Water!

We were fooled at one time by Ionized Water, so we hope you will not be
fooled! Companies will tell you they have pre-filters that will remove
contaminates like fluoride and aluminum, but it is just not true. These
molecules are just to small to filter out, they must be distilled out.
"Here, in a nutshell, are a few basic facts that I believe anyone with a solid
background in chemistry or physiology would concur with:
- "Ionized water" is
nothing more than sales fiction; the term is meaningless to chemists.
- Pure water (that is,
water containing no dissolved ions) is too unconductive to undergo significant
electrolysis by "water ionizer" devices.
- Pure
water can never be alkaline or acidic, nor can it be made so by electrolysis.
Alkaline water must contain metallic ions of some kind — most commonly,
sodium, calcium or magnesium.
- The idea that one must consume
alkaline water to neutralize the effects of acidic foods is ridiculous; we get
rid of excess acid by exhaling carbon dioxide.
- If you do drink alkaline water,
its alkalinity is quickly removed by the highly acidic gastric fluid in the
stomach.
- Uptake of water occurs mainly in
the intestine, not in the stomach. But when stomach contents enter the
intestine, they are neutralized and made alkaline by the pancreatic secretions
— so all the water you drink eventually becomes
alkaline anyway.
- The claims about the
health benefits of drinking alkaline water are not supported by credible
scientific evidence.
- There is nothing wrong with
drinking slightly acidic waters such as rainwater. "Body pH" is a meaningless
concept; different parts of the body (and even of individual cells) can have
widely different pH values. The pH of drinking water has zero effect on that
of the blood or of the body's cells.
- If you really want to
de-acidify your stomach (at the possible cost of interfering with protein
digestion), why spend hundreds of dollars for an electrolysis device when you
can take calcium or Noni?
- Electrolysis
devices are generally worthless for treating water
for health enhancement, removal of common impurities, disinfection, and scale
control. Claims that "ionized" waters are antioxidants are untrue;
hypochlorites (present in most such waters) are in fact oxidizing agents."

Distilled water is the only truly
clean water!!!

Distilled water is the cleanest available, unless you have access to a
protected aquifer. The only problem with distilled water is that it has
absolutely no mineral content. So, if you choose to go this route, make sure to
supplement with your Fulvic Ionic Minerals everyday.
Water purified by reverse osmosis is inexpensive and fairly easy to attain. Most
grocery stores have a reverse osmosis water dispenser in or outside of their
store for about 25 cents a gallon. Make sure not to use a plastic or
poly-carbonate container to store your water in. Glass, ceramic, or
stainless steel is best!
Buying bottled distilled water is also OK, though it is bottled in plastic
and can be a little expensive per gallon.

SLEEP
SLEEP
It is very important to get 8–10 hours of sleep at night depending on what your body functions best with. Younger people and athletes need more sleep, because the needed more time to rebuild. Also, make sure where you sleep is completely dark and that you are asleep between the hours of 10pm–3am. This will insure that your natural rhythm, called the zirconium rhythm is not disturbed.
This is our natural rhythm with the earth and sun. We were not made to sleep during the day except to nap for short periods of time. It has been scientifically proven that if we stay up at night and sleep during the day that we will not function or perform as well.
SLEEP FOR PERFORMANCE & MUSCLE SIZE
To increase natural testosterone levels in the body using sleep, do the following:
1. Sleep for 8–10 hours a night.
2. Weight train twice a day.
3. Eat 5–7 balanced meals a day.
4. Eat and take you supplements before and after training.
5. Stretch after training.

STRETCHING
STRETCHING
Always stretch AFTER you work out or train and not before unless you are doing corrective stretching.
Warm-up before getting into your exercises so that you warm the core temperature of the body and prevent injury.
Stretching before training or before an event can increase injury because of tendon and ligament lengthening. Unlike the muscles, tendons and ligaments do not bounce back to their normal length after stretched out. It takes about an hour for you tendons and ligaments to shrink back to their normal length after being stretched.
So always stretch after your workout or training and this will prevent injury and even make you stronger, faster, and more flexible. This will also give your nervous system a time to relax.

The three keys to success!
1. FOCUS
You must focus on what you want to do and know what your goals are. Write them down. Do not let outside distractions take your attention away from what you are doing.
2. MEDITATION
What ever sport you are playing, stop, take a break, close your eyes, and imagine yourself doing the proper form of the movement in your head perfectly 10 times. This works in every sport for every movement. Professional athletes do it to gat better too!
3. PRACTICE
Practice all the time. You will only get better at kicking a ball if you kick a ball and you will only get better at doing a bench press if you bench press.
